DAKO Construction are delighted to have handed over its first project with Staffordshire University to set up the SAMIAC (Staffordshire Advanced Materials Incubation and Accelerator Centre).
Works consisted of the internal strip out and conversion of an existing University building to create dedicated incubation space, as well as research, prototype and innovation lab space.
The facility now offers dedicated innovation support to the ceramics industry and other manufacturing areas, including energy generation, aerospace and automotive.
Mark Watson, Special Works Director commented “We are pleased to hand over our first project working with Staffordshire University which has been delivered on time and to a high standard. This is despite the challenges presented working through the Covid pandemic.”
